    COVID-19 INFORMATION

      Due to the coronavirus COVID-19, Vondel Hotels has taken appropriate measures to ensure the safety of our guests and employees. 

      Please note that our employees are aware of the measures taken. Naturally, we apply a strict sick report policy for all employees. For more information and questions about the coronavirus COVID-19 we refer you to the website of the RIVM.

      The well-being of our colleagues and guests is our number one priority. Please note that all bookings made with stay dates untill the 30th of December 2021 have free cancelation up to 6.00 p.m. the day of arrival.

      Public spaces 

      • All public areas (including the lobby, reception, toilets etc.) are disinfected on a regular basis. 
      • A disinfectant hand gel is available at the entrance of the hotel and at the reception.
      • The lift is only used to go upstairs. We ask guests to take the stairs down so that the one-way traffic measure can be ensured. 


      Check-in procedure

      • During the check-in procedure, we make sure that there are as few contact moments as possible.
      • Plexiglas screens where necessary at the reception.
      • All our employees avoid hand contact as much as possible.
      • Contactless payment is required.


      Rooms

      • The hotel rooms are extra disinfected according to the measures of the RIVM.


      Housekeeping

      • We wash hands as much as possible
      • Due to narrow corridors in most hotels, we limit the use of trolleys. This allows guests and employees to pass each other safely
      • Stay over service will only be provided when the guest requests this at the reception. Service will only be given when guests are not present in the room.
      • Paper materials like guest directories and magazines are removed from the room and if required a new directory is given upon check-in and discarded when left by the guest. 
      • We always disinfect the door handles when going in and out of the room.
      • Linen is placed in a linen trolley immediately when stripping the room, when we use separate linen trolley, the trolley is placed inside the room. It will not be left in the corridor. 
      • A disinfection round is done during the final check of the room with disinfecting product. All touch points are treated thoroughly.
      • Sign off sheets are provided and checked on a daily basis.
